Donnamaree Hampton is a talented, emerging New Zealand
landscape artist, who works from her studio in Maruia.
She has had an interest in art from a very young age and
draws her inspiration from her beautiful surroundings.
Although animals have always been her favorite theme, more
recently,
she has ventured into painting South Island landscapes.
As a self taught artist, Donnamaree's preferred medium
is
oil
on canvas.
Many of her works capture the majestic scenery of
New Zealand's Nelson,
Canterbury, West Coast and Otago regions,
however, she also enjoys painting commission works for her clients.
Donnamaree's home of Maruia is a relaxing tourist destination
where visitors can take in the astounding beauty of Maruia Falls,
bask in the glorious Hot Pools of Maruia Springs,
try their hand at Hunting or fishing
and take time out to visit Donnamaree's Art Studio
